Interstate 110 Improvements

Interstate 110 is an approximately five-mile spur that connects Interstate 10 to downtown Pensacola. The $58 million improvement project widened the highway to six lanes between the Creighton Road overpass and Maxwell Street, a distance of approximately five miles. Also included was the widening or replacement of five bridge overpasses and major improvements to the heavily traveled Brent lane and Fairfield Drive interchanges.

ABC Group developed and administered the public information activities for the multi-year project. Activities included media, government and community relations. The firm maintained the project website; facilitated public meetings; developed news releases, fact sheets and brochures; provided public presentations for a variety of stakeholders; and performed door-to-door canvasses throughout the project work zone to establish and maintain personal/professional relationships residents and business owners.
